I ran into this article the other day and think it has some good tips on it. Enjoy.

With the release to retail of Microsoft Office 2010 now here you may like to check it out. I have put in a link for a free trail. This should be a minor improvement over the 2007 version which was a major improvement over Office 2003. It is not thou, many new items and features added. We have been on the beta inside our company for almost 7 months now and love it. Give it a try and see if you like it as well.
One of the coolest features of SharePoint 2010 is the ability to not only read other databases ( Oracle,SAP,Etc.) but to live write back to them Thur Sharepoint.
It allows you to stay in Sharepoint and not have to drop out of the interface. Many more features added. If you use Microsoft at all , it is very much worth the investment to get SharePoint up in your company.
I found this nice article on a Windows 7 trick to keep a live backup on your hard drive. I have used this on my personal computer with great success.

I ran into this blog today and I thought it made some good points. We have been using Office 2010 inside the company for going on 6 months plus now. As the article mentions at first look you may think no big deal. it is a newer verison of Office 2007. This is not the case.

I ran into this on one of my Microsoft tips pages. I think it has some good ideas. Many people know some of these, but maybe not all. Click on the link to help save yourself sometime in your daily life.

If you have not had a chance to check out Microsoft Office 2010 i would encourage you to do so. We have been using it for a little over 3 months now. If you are moving from the 2003 and older version it will be a big change. If you are looking to move from Office 2007, then not so much. Sharepoint continues to grow in all the new office products.
Here is a link to go check it out and see what you think.
There has been no secret that Microsoft will soon stop support for Windows XP and certain versions of Vista. See the link belwo for more details. May be time to consider the move to 7 if you have not already done so. XP in the end was a nice stable OS. To many out there forget all the issues it had when it first arrived.
In my use with 7, from very early beta I have not had one issue , many of my clients that have either deployed it or using it in test setups have run into problems as well. Not trying to say move to 7, but it can make your life easier.
I was looking around and found this link. Nice little app.
